The Robust Yale CPE Electric Chain Hoist

You’re guaranteed quality thanks to the tough materials used, and the hoist will stand up to regular, intense operation. The standard version benefits from direct control, a 5-pocket load chain sheave (manufactured from wear resistant case hardening steel), and forged suspension and load hooks which are manufactured from non-aging, high alloy tempering steel among many other features. There are optional extras too, and a system with Cranes-UK can include a motor with a stainless steel brake, a suspension hook rotated 90°, a low voltage control, a flexible chain container and limit switches for the highest and lowest hook positions.

Safety is certainly the highest priority with the CPE hoist, and the adjustable spring pressure brake can hold the load even in the event of power failure, while the motor is fitted with biometallic thermal protection. It’s also insulated to class F whilst it’s relatively easy to maintain too thanks to the oil bath lubricated gearbox.  The great advantage with Yale CPE hoists is that they are mainly made up of three components, meaning servicing is really easy whilst any faults can be found swiftly. ¬

These units can also be specially designed to feature dual speed hoisting combined with optional dual speed electric horizontally travelling beam trolleys, extended heights of lift, alternative voltages, radio controls and many other options. These electric hoists are perfectly engineered for a working life, and the assembly of component parts results in a low overall height.

The Yale CPE and CPE/F series have a choice of suspension types, including top hook suspension, push travel trolley, geared travel trolley, single speed electric travel trolley and dual speed electric travel trolley and Cranes-UK can help you decide on the model that’s right for your unique lifting needs. Yale has continued to ‘keep it simple’ with the CPE range and it easily meets national and international standards and regulations.
